Terms & Conditions

All journeys are bespoke and subject to availability. A booking is confirmed only after we receive a signed itinerary, the required deposit, and any permit details we request from you.

Our standard payment schedule is 50% of the total journey cost as a deposit to hold the dates, and the remaining 50% due 30 days before departure. For journeys booked within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at confirmation.

Payments may be accepted via bank transfer, UPI, or approved online payment methods. All quoted prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

Several areas in Northeast India require Inner Line Permits (ILP) or Protected Area Permits (PAP). Traveldeeds coordinates these permits on your behalf, but we require accurate documents (passport, visa, identity proof, and photographs) within the timeline we communicate during booking.

Delays in providing correct documents may result in missed permits, itinerary changes, or cancellation fees. Travelers are responsible for ensuring their travel documents are valid for the entire duration of the trip.

Cancellation terms vary by season, supplier, and the specific services booked. Our standard cancellation and refund policy applies unless your itinerary explicitly states different terms. Please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy page for full details.

Travel in remote regions involves inherent risks, including weather changes, road conditions, altitude, and wildlife. Traveldeeds takes reasonable care to plan safe itineraries, but we cannot be held liable for events outside our direct control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or medical emergencies.

Travelers are expected to follow the guidance of their experience host, local guides, and community hosts. Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the journey without refund.

All itineraries, photographs, and descriptions on this website are representative of the Traveldeeds experience. We may adjust routes, accommodations, or activities based on local conditions, always with the goal of preserving the quality and safety of the journey.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Shillong, Meghalaya.
